Hi Everyone!
My name is Kait Cirillo. I am originally from Clinton, NY, but am a current resident in Rochester, NY with my husband and three cats, Pink, Oreo, and Joey! This is my second class in the MHA program, and I am very excited to brush up on my research skills!
I currently work at University of Rochester as the Admissions Events Manager in the Simon Business School. I found my interest in event planning while in undergrad at The Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago. I had a part-time role at a Catholic graduate school where I was the Events Assistant. After graduation, I worked at Catholic Theological Union as their Manager of Events and Student Services before moving to Rochester. I decided to pursue this specific MHA program after realizing that my current role was too busy for in-person coursework!
After pursuing the MHA, I hope to move out of higher education, and enter the hotel industry. I have always wanted to work on a events and catering team.
